Pierced Earrings: Jeweler’s Saw Workshop
The Jeweler’s Saw may be the most important tool on a jeweler’s bench. Learning to control the saw will make all of your metalsmithing endeavors more enjoyable.
Our resident metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through proper posture, how to choose a sawblade, turning corners, and piercing intricate patterns with plenty of time to practice sawing on your own.
This workshop is for anyone that would like to get started with metalsmithing, novices that would like to improve their skills, sawing wizards that desire to be in a workshop environment.
Students will leave this workshop having started a mirrored pair of pierced brass or copper earrings.
