Practical Magic (1998)
Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian Owens (Nicole Kidman) have always known they were different. Raised, by their Aunts after the death of their parents, the sister grew up in a house that was everything, but typical. Chocolate cake breakfasts, midnight margaritas, and spending their life being taught the ways magic. However, the use of their magic comes with a bit of a curse. Rumors spread through their childhood about them being witches without an real proof. And into their adult lifes where every man they grow to love are doomed to an untimely death. Tired of this, Gillian leaves their home to live life to the fullest while Sally swears off using her magic except in the most practical sense. Now adult women with very different personalities, the quiet Sally and the fiery Gillian must use all of their powers to fight the family curse and a swarm of supernatural forces that threaten the lives of all the Owens women.
