Take a journey through the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s dancing the night away as we bring RETRO REVIVAL to the Jam in Arcata, Saturday April 30th. Dust off those retro fits and head out for an evening of fun! retro , house, and pop DJ JOE-E will be mixing all your favorite throwbacks joined by SEGOYA and ZERA doing a special throwback set. We have some surprises for you as singer, OSSA will be delivering a riveting performance with the Vagabond Dancers fresh off her return from the Coachella music festival. DJ PRESSURE will be mixing in some 90’s and 00’s as well. THE VAGABOND DANCERS have an extra special themed performance for you, including aerial shows!

ZERA (aka Ezra S. Hollis) is an up and coming, young Producer and DJ, born and raised in the deep heart of Humboldt County, where he has already had the honor of playing big stages, such as Northern Nights Music Festival. His love and passion for music started at the age of three, with his first on the drum kit, progressing onto violin and finally keyboards upon which he still incorporates into his Beat Production. ZERA’s early musical journey has woven through many genres from Hip-Hop and Alternative Rock to starting a love for electronic music at a young age. His musical inspirations have evolved but not strayed to his enthusiasm to mix and produce Electric Dance Music. Behind the mixer, ZERA makes the dance floor go crazy with his choice of many different genres that adept to the dance floor, ranging from Funky future house to Trap and dubstep while mixing in modern Hip-Hop vocals and remixes.

Singer, songwriter, & musician, OSSA currently resides in Los Angeles California, originally from Connecticut she has performed as a part of many bands and is currently working on her own project. Over the past couple years, she has worked up vocals for some EDM sogs and will be singing live at this event! Don’t miss her special performance!

PRESSURE:

Always bending genres, DJ Pressure refuses to be put in a box. Drawing upon wide-ranging backgrounds in global culture, his mixes are a high energy fusion of ancient musical traditions with the modern language of hip-hop, dancehall, reggaeton, bass and electronic music. Over the years he’s made warmly received appearances at festivals such as Reggae On The River and Northern Nights. He’s performed with big name artists who include, Talib Kweli, Iamsu, Balkan Beat Box, Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, Sage The Gemini, Mozzy, Nef The Pharaoh, Delhi 2 Dublin, Del The Funky Homosapian, The Skatalites, The English Beat, Yellowman, and Anthony B including backing Gift Of Gab, Baby Bash and Andre Nickatina.

The beautiful Vagabond dancers have been featured at numerous festivals both in person and online, such as Burning Man & Stay at Home Music Festival, Outdoor shows, and indoor venues. Come be captivated as they are sure to keep your attention, mixing styles of hip hop, contemporary, gogo, & more.

VIP EXPERIENCE

The VIP experience is the premium package and includes: A private VIP booth for your group, expedited check in, entry to the show for the number of people your booth holds, complimentary bottle of champagne (2 for groups of 6 or larger), table service from the bottle girls.
