Sam Coomes, Sun Foot, The Tweeners
The Miniplex at Richards’ Goat Tavern
Sam Coomes, best known for his work with Sleater-Kinney’s drummer Janet Weiss under the moniker Quasi, collabs with Built to Spill and Elliot Smith, has just released his first solo album (under his own name) on the legendary Domino Records label.
After nearly two decades of outsanding releases, Coomes has refined his meloncholy keyboard driven melodies into pure gold. Seriously can’t believe he’s coming here. He’s bringing along art-rock trio Sun Foot along for the ride.
