The Cowtown Sound will be doing the armchair boogie this Friday in tribute to the late, great Michael Hurley, who passed away last week after 83 years of magical music-making. Hurley’s style is a slyly comic mix of American folk tradition, jazz, blues, and weirdo rock and roll.
