The Subtle Art & Science of Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Learn to teach Yin Yoga and deepen your practice in this 4 day training with Samantha Akers. Yin Yoga is a meditative practice in which supported poses are held for a period of time, eliciting a deep sense of stretch and relaxation. In this training, you will learn how to support the body safely, the science of stretching and the myofascial system, as well Yin philosophy and meditation techniques for orbital breathing.
Yin Yoga is not Restorative Yoga. This training will help trainees to see and feel the important differences between the practices. Yin poses must be entered into safely and with a deep understanding of what you are asking of students bodies, to find a beneficial and stable posture that promotes just the right amount of stretch. This training is a must for teachers that would like to teach in public and private classes and is beneficial to students who would simply like to deepen their practice. 26 CEUs available.
