84 after the sinking of the Titanic, a 101 year old woman named Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet/Gloria Stuart) recalls her experience aboard the ship to her granddaughter and others who are searching for a lost treasure admist the sunken ship. It’s a love story that begins with a man named Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio). An American starving artist who won a ticket to sail on the Titanic back to his home. While on board he meets Rose who is reluctantly engaged to faux gentleman and vengeful gold-digger Cal Hockley (Billy Zane). Sparks fly and a once in a life time romance kindles. The two are spearted soon after the historic Titanic crashes into an iceberg and must find each other before the ship goes down so they can start a new life together in America. This film also stars: Bill Paxton and Kathy Bates. It is the 2nd highest box office grossing movie of all-time bringing in just over two billion dollars.
