Watercolor Demonstration with Lee Mothes

The Sanctuary

Lee (Rusty) Mothes will give a public demonstration of his watercolor painting techniques during Open Lab in the Sanctuary meeting room. He will show how he paints skies and water by doing a sketch in watercolor inspired by Humboldt County’s beaches. During the two-hour session, he will talk about his work, create a small painting, then work with those who wish to create a painting of their own. Some limited art supplies are available at the Sanctuary, and attendees are welcome to bring their own. Free event, donations are always appreciated!
