POLL! Is Humboldt County in the Pacific Northwest?
A LoCO coworker recently overheard a local say something about living “here in the Pacific Northwest,” which instantly caused a giant question mark to appear over said coworker’s noggin.
Is the PNW just Oregon and Washington? Or does Humboldt (and Del Norte, one must assume) earn honorary inclusion thanks to its shared natural attributes — the temperate rainforest climate, the ancient redwoods, the rugged coastline, etc.?
