POLL! What KIND of Crab Should the Humboldt Crabs Mascot Be?

The Humboldt Crabs baseball season kicks off today at 7 p.m. at the Arcata Ball Park, and while your Lost Coast Outpost was perusing their website for game info, we noticed their logo features a pretty nondescript looking little fella. He’s not an obvious member of any specific crab species, so far as we can tell, because he can wield a bat and shoot a shifty little grin. So we leave it up to you: what kind of crab should this guy be? (For simplicity’s sake, we’ve just kept it to crabs native to Northern California so you don’t have to pick one of the 7,000 species of true crabs, plus however many kinds of Anomura are scuttling about.)
