A local Craigslist poster had a little trouble so he went online to ask for help.

My100 year old landlady left a notice on my door this morning stating she wanted to do a walk thru. i think she smelled my gro..

He seems to be a bit confused about what is legal or not.

I got a legit 215 and so does my lady so together we got just our 99 plants each and 1500 watts each we made sure NOT to do anything illegal or wrong. Our grow is split in 2 sides with a script in each area.

He’d made just a few minor modifications to the rental.

Where we need help is that we had to modify some venting and filled 1 room with dirt..

I mean, c’mon, what so wrong with filling a room with dirt? He did protect the floor.

but we did use several tarps tacked up high on the wall for liner, covered that with plastic and laid as not to hurt the floor

He did make just one liiittle, tiiiiiny electrical adjustment

…we tapped off the 220 for the electric dryer and made our own “circuit line” back to the room to run our stuff at 220.

He figures the elderly woman is so unreasonable she might not be happy with this  minor adjustment so he’s wondering

…[C]an she evict us for our LEGAL grow? I dont think she would notice the new electrical cuz it went uner the floor but she would surely see the 2nd room full of dirt or maybe we could just lock the door cuz that is the only real sign of pot in the house other than pipes and debris.

He knows the pipes and the debris aren’t going to upset her but a room full of dirt might be just a wee bit problematic.  Heck, she just might go so far as to try and toss him out.  He’s not guilty of anything, of course but he might need some advice in case that elderly woman gets rude and pushy.

Has anybody had experience fighting the landlord who tries to put a innocent person on the street? Or any information of who I can get on my defense in case she tries to kick us out

The guy and his girlfriend have had a hard time.

we both lost our jobs cuz of the economy.

But he’s a great tenant.

even running exciting new electrical lines and he does

He cares about the lawn so much he’s  growing the grass inside and he loves the weed to weed.

According to a later post by the same fellow, he got some ideas from other Craigslist readers and he’s not worried anymore.  He just

… changed the door knob..got 1 with a lock on it now.. i will tell the old bat it is locked accidental and cant get in.. fuck her!!!! rest of the house will be clean and i can burn incense to cover any smell.

i dont think she can tell i am growing

In a still later post, he explains he’s not worried even if she does figure it out.

… a bro sent me an email from a lawyer in berkeley that states it is illegal to throw me out for legally prescribed medication and she will be locked up in the court process for months without me paying any rent plus she will have to retain a attorney big $$$$$ for her. she wont do it.

Even if he is forced out, he has a plan.

…if i do have to leave i can just thrash the walls and leave the electrical way it is.. she’ll have to get a electician in here to str8’n this shiznit out LOLOL

Now why would anyone want to lose such a thoughtful tenant?
