Humboldt Co. Sheriff Press Release: On 07-28-2011 at approximately 1100 hours the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on a 38-acre parcel located off Price Creek Road, Ferndale. When deputies arrived on scene they located 4 outdoor marijuana gardens on the property. Deputies seized 977 growing marijuana plants from the property  that ranged in size from 1’ to 4’ in height. This marijuana growing site is located at the very end of Price Creek Road and there are no structures on the property.

No suspects were located on the property. Deputies are continuing the investigation in this case and will contact the property owners to see what their involvement may have been in the commercial marijuana growing operation.
