UPDATE. 3:31 p.m.: Second Eureka Fire at Foot of Del Norte Street

Reports are coming in of a tower of smoke emanating from the Palco marsh wetlands behind the Bayshore Mall. Humboldt Bay Fire Department confirms that two fire engines are on the scene and estimate they will have the grass fire out within the hour.
HBFD’s Rusty Goodlive spoke to KHUM’s Mike Dronkers about the blaze, that audio is included below.
