Arcata Police Dept. Press Release:

On Wednesday, July 24th 2013, officers from the Arcata Police Department’s Special Services Unit and the Humboldt County Probation Department conducted a series of probation and sex offender compliance checks focusing on the Valley West area of the city.

During the course of the operation, numerous probationers were contacted at motels and apartment complexes in the area. 

The checks resulted in the following arrests: 

·         Brent Douglas Gerber was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

·         Devon Preston Cathey was arrested for two outstanding warrants.

·         Kerry Duggan  was arrested for 11377 H&S, possession of a controlled substance.

·         Donald Raymond Pohr was arrested for 11377 H&S, possession of a controlled substance.
