Bad news, naked bikers. The organizers of this year’s Redwood Run have announced that ‘00s alt-metal radio stars Puddle of Mudd — whose hits include the inescapable “She Fucking Hates Me” — are no longer scheduled to headline the rowdy, multi-day motorcycle rally next month. While promoters declined to comment as to the cause of the cancelation, PoM lead singer Wes Scantlin made TMZ headlines last month for something of an onstage meltdown. These things happen to rock stars sometimes.
So who will ensure there is not a riot when the revved up masses roll into Piercy come mid-June? Well it seems event organizers have traded in one golden-locked rock god for another. None other than Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach has stepped up to co-headline the event with the always reliable Marshal Tucker Band. (That actually feels like a more logical fit anyway, right?)
Day saved. Full schedule of Redwood Run events here.
(Can you tell them apart?: Wes Scantlin (left) and Sebastian Bach (right). There will be a quiz.)
