In other Flatmo news, Duane spent last weekend in the Bay Area with his flaming, eight-legged friend El Pulpo Mecanico. The occasion? The machine was one of the main attractions at the Maker Faire, an event celebrating arts, crafts and engineering and attended by tens of thousands.

Our boy Duane sends word of one highlight in particular: Adam Savage, star of the popular show MythBusters, hopped in Flatmo’s flaming dragon for a little ride. Evidence below:
