From the Platte County (Mo.) Sheriff’s Office:

On December 17, 2015 at approximately 1800 hours, a patrol deputy from the Platte County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle traveling Eastbound on Interstate 435 near Northwest Cookingham Drive for observed traffic violations. During the car stop, the Deputy noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and that the driver, later identified as Tamaras O’Shea Abrams, a 47-year-old white female from Arcata, California was extremely nervous. A K-9 was utilized to check the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 180 pounds of high grade marijuana.

Ms. Abrams was arrested and transported to the Platte County Detention Center on suspicion of narcotics trafficking and currently remains in custody pending charges.
