Eureka Police Department press release: 

On 06/22/15, at about 1600 hours, detectives from the Eureka Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit and Criminal Investigations Section served a Search Warrant at the 700 block of Allard Ave, in Eureka.

A search of the residence yielded approximately two ounces of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material. As a result of the investigation, Charles Didier (58) was taken into custody and booked into Humboldt County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales.

EPD Note: Just as a point of reference, one ounce of methamphetamine can yield approximately 280 doses or individual “hits” of the illegal drug.
