Over the weekend, Corporal Rich Schlesiger with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office was laid to rest at a service in Fortuna. He died on Sept. 7 after a long battle with cancer.
Today the Sheriff’s Office released a short video used in the memorial service featuring a final end of watch call bit of audio that went out over the police scanner to commemorate Schlesiger’s passing. Listen below.
