Eureka Police Department press release:
Lynette Mullen was recently hired as the City of Eureka’s Homeless Services Program Manager to coordinate the regional response to homelessness for the City, County, and State. This is a part time position that will work primarily out of the Eureka Police Department.
Lynette comes to this position after working the last four years as an independent project manager as owner of Projects Delivered. Prior to that she worked at the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office as Community Outreach and Education Coordinator.
As the Homeless Services Program Manager, Lynette will provide direction, programmatic development, and coordination of the City of Eureka’s Homeless Strategy and Implementation Plan. This includes working with the community, city departments, public and regulatory agencies and community groups to meet the needs of the homeless within the City of Eureka.
“I look forward to the opportunity to address homelessness in Eureka,” Mullen said. “Fortunately the city has already established a Homeless Strategy and Implementation Plan, which will guide my efforts in helping to implement the city’s housing first strategy. My job is to work with partners throughout the community to follow that plan. I want to get things done.”
