Supervisors Pass Commercial Medical Marijuana Land Use Ordinance Unanimously
The supervisor chambers were as packed as this reporter has ever seen them — every seat full, people lined shoulder-to-shoulder along the back wall and overflowing out the door. In short order, after three brief public speakers and a few comments from staff, the board voted unanimously to pass the Commercial Medical Marijuana Land Use Ordinance (CMMLUO), prompting an eruption of raucous cheers from the assembled crowd.
See yesterday’s coverage for background, including a link to the full draft ordinance.
Next up, the board is having a very rare joint meeting with the Eureka City Council to address homelessness.
