UPDATE, 4:45 p.m.:
Emily Jacobs, program director with the Humboldt County Aviation Division, tells the Outpost The blimp has landed at the Arcata-Eureka Airport and should leave Humboldt tomorrow morning, pending weather delays.
You may have seen the blips do a few flybys over Eureka a few hours ago. Jacobs tells us the crew was killing time while they waited to land.
“They were just out flying around for a while waiting for the grounds crew to arrive,” Jacobs said. “The blimp will most likely try to take off in the morning.”

UPDATE: LoCO superfriend Chad Johnson files some windy blimp footage.
UPDATE, 2:15 p.m.: The Goodyear Blimp is currently circling over Eureka.
###
Stop everything you’re doing at this exact moment and go outside for one last look at the glorious flying billboard that is the Goodyear Blimp.
The blimp is returning to Los Angeles after taking off from Bend Oregon yesterday.
Multiple reports have come through in the last hour saying the blimp has passed through Trinidad and is currently over Arcata.
Go check it out, or live the rest of your life filled with regret.
