Six Eureka Police Department officers raided a room at the Motel 6 on Broadway Street moments ago.

According to scanner traffic, officers were staking out the motel after 911 operators received a call from a reported victim claiming there was an armed suspect named “Mike” in one of the rooms.

An anonymous LoCO reader sent us this video showing the moment officers made entry to the room.

“I didn’t see anyone come out besides the officers after, so I’m not sure [if anyone was arrested],” the LoCO reader said in a Facebook chat. “An officer was down below talking to who was ever in the room trying to negotiate a surrender.”
