IN LOVING MEMORY

Anthony (Tony) Claude Meeker was born in Willow Creek, Ca on August 22, 1962 and lived his entire life on Keller flat in Hoopa, CA.

Tony lived a quiet life with his beloved dogs, “Wylie Coyote” and “Yogi Bear”.  They visited his Mom and Stepfather daily.

He was in a nursing home for two years because of a back injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. The doctors told him he would never walk again; but, Tony would hear none of that. It was his determination and strength of mind that enabled Tony to walk again. Tony would often be seen on his motorized chair, traveling to the store or gas station in downtown Hoopa.

Tony is preceded in death by his sister, Celinda Meeker, maternal Grandfather and Grandmother, KC and Hazel Keller, his Aunts Mary Keller and Madolin Keller, Uncle Keith Keller. He is survived by his Mother, Diane Keller Annand, Step- Father, Thomas (Thumper) Annand and step-sister, Shawna McNutt and family, Uncle Kenneth Keller, Aunt Shirley (Keller) and Uncle Denis Cush-man and numerous cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Nov 12, 2016, at the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church located on North Hwy 96 (Norton Field), Hoopa.  To be officiated by Elder Virgil Pole.

There will be a reception at the church immediately after. Please sent any donations to Miranda’s Rescue for Large & Small Animals
