Well, looks like them good ol’ boys are at it again.
This here sedan caught more air than a blind frog in a wind storm after it veered off the roadway and hit a curb in front of Eureka’s Pacific Motorsports on Sunday ‘round 7:30 a.m.
Eureka Police Department spokesperson Brittany Powell tells the Outpost that the vehicle was travelin’ southbound real fast-like before it crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with some road signs and a wooden fence.
The outlaw reportedly sped off from that there scene, but EPD officer Ryan McElroy reports on Facebook that a good samaritan followed the driver, and authorities were able to arrest the suspect faster than a New-York minute.
The Outpost’s record vault shows that 21-year-old Forrest Lee Carlson was arrested in connection to the crash and charged with DUI.
Looks like that ol’ boy’s goose is cooked. But that’s the way it goes here in Humboldt County.
