The local National Weather Service storm prophets who dwell on Woodley Island foretell of a pair of storms set to potentially drench Humboldt later this week. One system will likely hit us Thursday night bringing heavy rains, gusty winds and even possibly thunderstorms and small hail. A second system set to wet Friday and Saturday will bring more of the same as well as snow at higher elevations.
