We must shiver a bit longer.

Humboldt’s more-wintry winter rolls on, possibly affecting motorists. Inland mountain passes above 2000 feet are likely to see light snow accumulations through tomorrow, according to our local National Weather Service forecasters. If you are making an west-east trek Caltrans advises having chains and/or snow tires on board (it also never hurts to have a blanket and some food in case things get hairy).

Out on the coast there’s a chance that we’ll see some pea-sized hail mixed in with the rains, especially near Trinidad. Stay dry, one and all.
