From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at about 5:50 PM, the Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible gunshot victim located at a residence on the 3900 block of Union St., in Eureka. 

Deputies responded to the scene and located a male subject who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. The male was transported for medical treatment. Deputies later served a search warrant at the incident location. The investigation is still ongoing.
