The U.S. Coast Guard is closing the entrance to Humboldt Bay to inbound and outbound vessels as a result of today’s high surf conditions, the Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services announced this afternoon.
The National Weather Service notes that Thursday swells will likely range between 25 and 30 feet.
Additionally, Crescent City harbor and Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg are also closed today. For more information contact the Coast Guard at 707-839-6113.
