Del Norte County Sheriff’s deputies are “watching” the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and waiting for a response after they officially called upon local deputies to take part in the Lip Sync Challenge.

The Lip Sync Challenge is a recent trend sweeping social media, where various police agencies across the U.S. are performing original lip-sync videos and then challenging other agencies to record their own performances.

At the end of the DNCSO’s rendition of “Every Breath You Take” by The Police, Del Norte County Sheriff Erik Apperson called out the HCSO, Crescent City Police among other police agencies.

The DNCSO’s music video (above) already has more than 1,000 shares after it was posted to Facebook an hour ago.

The Outpost will reach out to the HCSO tomorrow to see how it plans to respond to this challenge.
