Armed Men Tie Up Redway Residents in Their Home, Make Off With Cash and Jewelry, Says HCSO
Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On Sept. 11, 2018, at about 10 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a
residence on the 3200 block of Redwood Drive in Redway for the report of a home invasion
armed robbery occurring earlier that morning.
According to victims at the residence, at about 4:30 a.m. three unknown, Spanish-speaking male
subjects forced entry into the residence. The suspects were reportedly in possession of firearms
and tied up the residents inside, demanding money. The suspects fled the scene with
approximately $4,000 cash and jewelry. Two victims were transported to a local hospital with
non-life-threatening injuries resulting from the robbery.
