Julia
Joyce Johnson
11-28-1978- 2-9-2019
Julia Johnson left this earth too soon, on February 9, 2019, after a short illness. She passed away in the hospital with the support of family and a few close childhood friends.
Julia had a lovely smile, beautiful heart, sense of humor, and many artistic talents. Julia was one to give her all to her friends and family.
She had many, many, friends that she made over the years and we are overwhelmed by the love and support from everyone.
She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing the results. Often she would cook for the neighborhood or deliver an incredible meal to friends across town.
She loved to draw, paint, make jewelry, carve and sculpt and was creative in so many ways.
She was a wonderful loving mother to her sons, Owen and Jantz. She was also a second mother to neighbor Khalee Victa. Being a stay-at-home mom she was able to give her all to raise her kids. Julia was always nurturing to all the neighborhood kids over the years.
She is survived by her sons, Owen Huddleson (15) and Jantz Johnson (7); mother and father, Cheryl and Ernie Johnson of Fieldbrook; brother Ernie and wife Gala Davis Johnson of Tyrone, Georgia; Jantz’s father, Michael Trapp, and his grandma, Teresa Halicke of Rio Dell; Owen’s father, Barney Huddleson of Eureka; partner Peter Krueger; neighbor and adopted sister Jasmine Victa, mother of Jantz’s best friend, Khalee; uncle Mark Springman and Claudine Springman; and many other cousins and relatives too numerous to mention.
She leaves behind a legacy or friendship and beauty and will be greatly missed.
If you would like to participate in her memorial celebration of life please email Julia@planethumboldt.com and we will contact you once we decide on the details. We’re currently leaning towards when the weather is warm so we can celebrate outside like Julia would have wanted.
