From the Humboldt County Drug Task Force:
Last weekend the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a Eureka residence and seized over one pound of methamphetamine. Through their investigation agents identified, Robert Samuel French (age 61), as a suspected narcotics dealer in Humboldt County.
On March 16th, 2019, at approximately 8:45 a.m., special agents served a search warrant at French’s residence located in the 3100 block of Summer Street, Eureka. Agents detained French along with several other occupants without incident. Agents located just over 1 pound of methamphetamine, approximately 2 ounces of cocaine, scales, and other evidence indicative of narcotics sales. Additionally, agents contacted Anita Gail Burns (age 53) inside the residence who was found to be in possession of approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine.
Both French and Burns were subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where they were booked on narcotics violations.
