Earlier today the Eureka Police Department arrested 32-year-old David Dues on sexual battery charges. In addition to the information in the press release below, EPD Chief Steve Watson tells the Outpost that they are actively seeking people who may have been propositioned by Dues, an alleged foot fetishist. If Dues has offered to massage your feet, you are urged to call EPD at 707-441-4060.

Dues

On October 16, 2019 an officer from the Eureka Police Department responded to a report of sexual battery that has occurred on Harrison Avenue. As a result of the investigation David Dues (32 years old from Eureka) was identified as the suspect.

On October 18, 2019 at about 10:04 a.m., Officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to a motel in the 1100 block of Fifth Street in Eureka to locate Dues. Dues was located in a room at the motel and subsequently taken into custody without incident.

Dues was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for felony Sexual Battery and probation violation. Additionally, Dues had a warrant for his arrest for failing to Register as a Sex Offender. Dues is currently being held without bond.
