Emergency food distribution to help those suffering due to the coronavirus crisis.

 

Have you been impacted by the current pandemic due to lost wages or revenues and are struggling to make ends meet?  Food for People in partnership with Cooperation Humboldt will hold an emergency drive-through food distribution on Friday, April 10th from 2-4pm. Those who would like to participate are asked to arrive via the entrance on Bayshore Way by Applebees and to stay in their car, volunteers will load the food directly in the vehicles to cut down on face to face interactions and practice safe social distancing. Those without a car are directed to go the Eureka Food Pantry, which has relocated to 2112 Broadway (707-407-0447).

Food for People, the Food Bank for Humboldt County, operates a network of countywide pantries and food distribution programs to help those experiencing hunger and financial instability.  All regular distribution programs remain operational though some may become more fluid as we address evolving needs and challenges.
