Eureka Mayor Susan Seaman announced in a weekly public service announcement today that, as of yesterday, 528 local businesses have received money through the Paycheck Protection Program and other forms of financial assistance.
These loans have reportedly brought more than $95.4 million into the local economy.
“These funds, in combination with the innovation and ingenuity of our many local business owners and the service of our talented local workforce, are all factors that will help our local economy rebound from COVID-19 more quickly,” Seaman said in the announcement.
