Hey, Humboldt: The Northern California Community Blood Bank is critically short of supply at the moment.

That word went out on the bank’s Facebook page this morning — see here — but things have gotten much worse since then. Numerous Blood Bank volunteers and employees have contacted us this afternoon to let us know that a couple of urgent trauma cases today have all but wiped out their supply of Type O in particular, and that they are in desperate need of donors.
