Ginger Gail Gouthier was born on June 10, 1947, in Porterville, Calif. She passed away on May 21, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Ginger was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Moran, and by her daughter, Bettinia Perkins. The many loved ones she leaves behind include her husband of 20 years, James Gouthier, daughters Brenda and Bernelle and son Roy. Ginger’s family includes seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ginger was a loving mother, wife sister and grandmother. She was a good provider for her family and at times worked more than one job. Her time away from home was spent managing or waitressing at family restaurants in the Central Valley and on the North Coast.

Ginger had a green thumb and spent much of her free time gardening and enjoying time with her family. She also enjoyed a night out occasionally, at the local casinos for dinner and entertainment.

The family is planning to hold a private celebration of life at a future date.
