Tony Marvin Thomason passed away on February 5, 2022. He was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on January 17, 1947. He was predeceased by his parents Marvin and Louise Thomason and his brothers Floyd, Roy, and Jimbo. He is survived by his siblings Peggy, Carolyn, David, Marilyn, Daryl, and Earl. He is also survived by his daughter Shelly Thomason.

Tony graduated from Arcata High School and served in the U.S. Army. While he was in the Army he married Christine Basquetti. He and his former wife had a business delivering Hostess baked goods in the McKinleyville area.

Tony will be remembered for his great laugh and for his love of family. He was also a friend of all animals, especially dogs.

A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held this Saturday June 25 at 1 p.m. at the Manila Community Center, 1611 Peninsula Drive, Arcata.
