Photo: Andrew Goff.

A woman was taken to the hospital this morning after her car left Highway 101 just east of the Eureka Slough Bridge, tumbling an estimated 70 feet off the roadway into the Eureka Slough.

A paramedic with Humboldt Bay Fire told the Outpost’s Andrew Goff that the woman was conscious when she was rescued, and appeared to be suffering only minor injuries.
