LoCO’s daily Instagram battle ran from March 2015 to June 2016. Instagram no longer serves the photos, so what’s left is who posted, when, the votes and the captions.
Voting is closed.
Think Humboldt County is beautiful? Got Instagram on your intelligent phone? Use #HumboldtCounty to place an image here and (temporarily) on LoCO’s homepage. Or just vote on your neighbors’ fine pics below. More details here.

4:04 a.m.: This is one of the busiest fire seasons Nate's had. Well, at least he got to be home for 15 hrs before he headed out on assignment to Humboldt County. 2 more weeks before he's off for 7 days of vacation. We continue to be thankful though. Things could be worse #norcal #humboldtcounty #sheltercove #calfire #horsefire #onedayatatime #isitnovemberyet #positivevibes

It was so neat to watch them doing flips and showing off right in front of her. 💜 #zoo #otters #hello #waving #norcal #humco #humboldt #humboldtcounty #eureka #eurekaca #sequioazoo #sequioapark #sequioaparkzoo

Also sad a bunch of very tired llooking firefighters relaxi g and playing catch with a footbal on the side of the road.
