LoCO’s daily Instagram battle ran from March 2015 to June 2016. Instagram no longer serves the photos, so what’s left is who posted, when, the votes and the captions.
Voting is closed.
Think Humboldt County is beautiful? Got Instagram on your intelligent phone? Use #HumboldtCounty to place an image here and (temporarily) on LoCO’s homepage. Or just vote on your neighbors’ fine pics below. More details here.
REMINDER: Not everyone whose photo appears here necessarily knows that they’re playing our game, right? Remember that.

12:58 p.m.: Photo presented unedited: Smoke from wildfires blocks out the midday sky surrounding a Northern California historic inn. The smoke has been an ebb and flow since we got to #NorCal but a constant reminder of the wildfires looming over the ridges. The gas stations are bustling with #calfire volunteers, and the campsites host families displaced by the fires.

8:43 p.m.: While the most important thing of a wedding is two souls becoming one, I absolutely love the details! You plan months, sometimes years, of all the little things that are going to make your day special, one of a kind, unique, you… And to see them finally come together on one of the most important days of your life is magical. I love photographing details, and all the special meanings behind them! Morgan & Katelynn's literary wedding was absolutely no exception. #kathleenamelia #kathleenameliaphotography #kathleenameliaphotographer #eurekaca #eureka #humco #humboldt #humboldtcounty #weddingphotography #library #librarywedding #literarywedding #themedwedding #carsonmansion #ingomar #ingomarclub
