Dr Niño, Extension apiculturist (APIS) and research scientist with the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Facility at U C Davis will share the latest on education programs & extension resources with an emphasis on current research and practical applications to honey bee management. Honey bees are very important to agriculure as pollinators and provide more than you can imagine for our well-being. Without the honey bee and other pollinators, we would not have the diverse range of fruits, vegetables and flowers that enrich our lives. Beekeepers and individuals interested in keeping bees won’t want to miss this!
