Friday, June 14 at 5:30 pm Northtown Books welcomes historian Ray Raphael to sign his new memoir, A Life in History.
For half a century, in twenty books, Ray Raphael has explored societal and historical themes by highlighting unsung individuals, from Revolutionary War farm wives to back country woodsmen in California.
Now at age eighty, Raphael surveys the forces that shaped his life - the civil rights and anti-war struggles of the 60s, the back to the land migrations of the 70s, and the more recent insistence by marginalized groups and historians for inclusive and honest narratives of our nation’s founding.
