Sheriff Truck Loaded

Taken YesterdaySeveral months ago (oops)at the Fernbridge Cafe

Yesterday, local resident Joyce Benton chanced upon a true Humboldt moment—two sheriffs’ trucks fully loaded with marijuana parked in front of the Fernbridge Cafe while the deputies sat inside enjoying lunch.

By the time she parked and got her camera out the Sheriff’s were leaving.  She secured permission for the photograph but some of the officers didn’t hang around.  You can see one vehicle pulling out in the background.

I can’t decide if the deputies just decided that the 10 or so residents living in Fernbridge are so honest that no one would try and take anything or if (this being Humboldt) that the amount involved was not worth someone’s trouble to steal.

I love this place!
