Within this post are some photos of men who you’ve maybe seen wearing boring shirts in Old Town Eureka. Guess what … now they are wearing bikinis. Wow, men! Wow, bikinis!
Here’s what you are currently thinking: But why would the Lost Coast Outpost, a reputable Humboldt County online publication, feature such salacious imagery? Glad you let me ask on your behalf! You see, the charitable folk at Old Town Coffee and Chocolates have produced an (some would argue) alluring calendar they’re calling “Barista Boys in Bikinis 2016” which is available for purchase at their bustling Old Town location.
Here is how OTC&C pitch their creation:
“Barista Boys in Bikinis” Calendar is our way of poking fun at all the bikini coffee drivethru shops that have sprung up across America. We like to have fun - but we take roasting and serving coffee very seriously. We love being a community gathering place and thank all our customers for gracing us with their patronage.
Why do you crave/require this? 1) First and foremost, because you could spend the entirety of 2016 enjoying men in bikinis while reminding yourself that today is Tuesday. 2) Because the calendars, which retail for $19.95, benefit one of Humboldt’s finest, most-essential non-profits Food for People. 3) LoCO columnist Barry Evans — who is not a barista but jumps at the chance to expose flesh — could not help himself and inserted himself into the photo shoot (see below). Sold.
“Shut up, Andrew! Show us the menz!” OK!
