It doesn’t matter how many times the populace is warned, or how many times people actually get swept away, folks just gotta get close to those big waves, huh? Gah. 

This weekend’s storm resulted in some impressive swells which Media Apex videographer and LoCO superfriend Chris Smith was gracious enough to point his lens at … from a safe distance. Please feel free to gawk at slow motion ocean “wow” in the clip below. Also allow adequate time to shake your head at the knuckleheads perched on the rocks challenging the white water to a game of chicken. 

OK. Uh. I guess we will say it again: Don’t do that.
