Our local arm of the National Weather Service is advising that thunderstorms could be on the way for interior sections of Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties along the border with Siskiyou County. The threat allows NWS to once again deploy its most rhyme-y bit o’ nature advice.

“Please keep this in mind: When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors,” they say. Additionally, anticipate winds gusts up to 30mph. Sleep well.
