Prepare for a bit of yuck starting Thursday, Humboldt. 

The local sky watchers at National Weather Service advise that a cold front approacheth bringing with it rain, wind and maybe even a li’l bit of snow above 5000 feet. Del Norte and northern Humboldt are expected to be drenched by over an inch of rain while areas in Trinity County down to southern Mendocino County can expect a bit less. Also expect gusty winds and large, angry surf through Friday.
