A nice guy from the Arcata House Partnership just called the Outpost to let folks know that it’ll be opening its emergency shelter tonight, for the first time this year.

If you need a place to stay tonight, in the freezing weather, then you can check in at the Arcata House Partnership’s Annex building, next to the bus terminal off F Street, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. today. They have 18 spaces available tonight, and those spaces include a meal and a shower. Spaces are first-come, first-serve, so you might want to get there early.

No pets, no drugs, no alcohol.
